Gharyan: troglodyte house. The hole in the ground is for rain water. They make sure the hole can hold a lot of water without flooding by perforating the bottom. They actually don't do that themselves, but they let ants do it. They throw in chicken bones and similar material. The ants then digs holes in the ground, to drag these bones into their holes for dinner.
